All Kim in the News

Even though there are no cameras allowed on set, someone managed to take photos of me and my cast mates on the job in Shreveport, Louisiana! Sneaky sneaky!  :P

I've been having so much fun on the set and am learning a lot. I'm so excited to see how the movie will turn out!

By the way, I found these pictures on Gossip Girls. Go here to see more photos from the movie shoot.

Khloe and I had the funnest day in Sydney, Australia, when we were there last week: We went to the zoo!

We played with so many different animals! OMG: Khloe danced with a kangaroo! It was so in love with her and kept wanting to dance with her really closely.

We hugged a koala and it got a little too close for comfort (you won't see this koala pic on TMZ!)...

It apparently liked the smell of my hair and tried to scratch me! I am okay -- no scratches -- but I did get scared!

We then held a huge snake: Khloe thought she was Britney Spears in Slave For You (remember that performance on MTV?) and I was soooo scared!

We also saw a huge emu. It is this huge species of bird I have never seen one before!

Overall we had the best time!

With all of this cellulite talk you guys must think I've got it bad! For the record, it's really not that bad at all! Just a little junk in the trunk! ;) Here is how it all got started...

This Sunday of Keeping Up With The Kardashians you will get to see my super cute idea for my one year anniversary gift for Reggie. I wanted to think of something unique and special, not something anyone could just go out and buy! I came up with the idea to make him a calendar! (You can see pictures from the shoot on this post!)

I only had a few weeks of preparation so I had to think fast! I asked my dear friend Troy Jensen, who is a make up artist, hair stylist and photographer if he could help me out! It was fierce!!! We had the best shoot ever! It was so different from anything I have ever done!

In order to make this the hottest shoot ever, I had to get in shape! I worked out like crazy. It felt good... but then, my sisters and I went to the American Laser Center for our usual laser hair removal (I recommend this to everyone as well!) and the nurse informed us of a cellulite treatment called VelaShape.

You have got to read about it! It is basically a non-surgical device that massages the needed area and stimulates the blood circulation so that it minimizes cellulite. I only had time for one treatment, but I am definitely planning to go back for more!

Two months ago my sisters and I visited the American Laser Center and did a VelaShape treatment, and we filmed the entire process!

Of course, now that the episode is about to air, the American Laser Center released a press statement saying we went there for the treatment, and now everyone is assuming I am secretly hurt by Paris' comments about me having cellulite and I am now rushing to try to do anything I can to get rid of it!

Well of course that is not the case! This treatment was done months before her joking around and I wouldn't have filmed the process if this was something I was insecure or embarrassed about!

I work out extremely hard and am happy with my shape... cellulite, not so much! Some things are just genetic and no matter how much working out you do, it just doesn't help!

LOL... What girl doesn't have a little bit of cellulite. And who wants it, anyway!

*PLEASE NOTE: These pictures are just a preview of Sunday's episode, they are not the entire shoot, nor are they all of the pictures that made Reggie's actual calender, the show doesn't give everything away and neither am I!  Some of these pictures along with a bunch more that aren't featured on the show will be used in my own calender that will be available for 2009 in my online store!

I'm on  the latest cover of Fitness Rx magazine!

I also added behind-the-scenes pictures of the photo shoot for the magazine that I did with my trainer Kathy Kaehler.

She and I recently put out exercise DVDs, downloadable workouts and helpful reminder cards (some of them are even autographed by me -- if you are so inclined)! You can buy my workout products here!

I'm so excited about all of this! I just hope I can help women (men are also welcome) with every body type achieve a healthy lifestyle and self image.

What do you think of the magazine cover and my workout products? Let me know in the comments area!

My sisters and I recently did a public service announcement about the country of Burma's struggle for freedom. Their Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi is imprisoned right now and has endured torture.

It's an incredible story and I'm honored to have helped raise awareness about Burma's plight. Over all it was a really fun and eye-opening experience!

We filmed the commercial at our store Dash. They wanted to show us in our natural enviorment yet still learning and spreading the word!

Did you know about the plight of Burma before this post? Do you plan to take any action?

I read in the comments that some of you thought it was inappropriate for me not to post about the anniversary of Armenian genocide (which took place just after World War I) and that I was being selfish for spending my day shopping instead.

For those of you who don't already know, I am half Armenian. I do not speak Armenian, but my late father instilled in us a lot of Armenian culture. My dad was half Turkish Armenian and half Russian Armenian and my mother is German, Irish and Scottish.

Judging by the pictures you have seen on this site and from what the gossip blogs have been saying, I can see why you may have gotten the wrong idea. But that's what the media put out... They didn't know I was leaving for Australia, spending my only free day with my boyfriend, running every possible errand because I won't be home for six weeks. From Australia, I land in Los Angeles and have just a few hours to switch bags before I leave for Shreveport, Louisiana, and won't be back for more than a month!

After my day of running errands, I spent the evening with my late father's side of the family. I went to an Armenian dinner with my family, like we often do. Of course, cameras weren't there for that -- and some things I like to keep private.

But all of the chatter really got me thinking... Do I know as much about my Armenian history as I would like to? The honest answer is... no.

That night at dinner my sisters, brother and I decided it is mandatory that we go to Armenia. None of us have ever been, neither had my dad and neither have my grandparents! My great grandparents were from Armenia and escaped the genocide. No one has been back since. All I know about my country is what I read and pictures I see on the Internet.

My parents couldn't tell us stories because no one has been! So, this generation is going to change that! We don't know when we are going to go, but we four kids have decided it is something we should do! I heard it is beautiful and we are all really excited about it!

I will definately keep you posted on the details of that trip! It would make my dad so proud!

Back when my father was alive, we didn't use digital cameras, so I don't have many pictures with him on my computer. But when I get home I am going to get a scanner so I can show you guys how handsome my daddy was.

I am also going to be honest, I don't speak Armenian (I know, a lot of you have asked). And I don't know all of the historical details -- so if you have some stories to share with me, I would love that!

What does the Armenian genocide mean to you? Let me know!

I recently filmed a segment for The Insider with Pat O'Brien. And by filmed, I mean I was behind the camera!

I went shopping in West Hollywood at Kitson and Waterworks, and later on met up with Pat. I had a lot of fun turning the cameras on the paparazzi. See what it's like to be bombarded with cameras by checking out the photos on this post!

By the way, Cheryl Woodcock from The Insider is pictured in the limo with me. Also, there is a pic on this post of a random paparazzi guy (in a shot with me, blue shirt). He took an inappropriate shot of me by accident and i chased him down to delete it and he did! See, they aren't all that bad.

What would you do if you were suddenly surrounded by a swarm of photographers? Let me know in the comments area!

kimkardashian_parishilton.jpgSome of you have been commenting about what Paris said about me the other day on the radio.

To set the record straight: Paris spoke to In Touch magazine (which was posted on TMZ here) about it and she did call me to apologize, which I really appreciated.

The truth is, we went to preschool together and have been friends a long time, so there are no hard feelings.

Thanks so much for sticking up for me in the comments area, guys!

If you want to check out my past blog posts about Paris go right here!

xoxo,

Kim

After my friend Tracy finally made it from the Big Apple to the Windy City (you can read about my travel drama here), we both wound up having SO much fun.

The club transformed into a fashion show for the first hour, which couldn't have made me happier! We watched the models as we drank our Shirley Temples, pretending they were mixed alcohol drinks... LOL!
