When I go out, I do have a drink or a beer, but if I do end up drinking one more than what I really should, I'll stay over with the closest relative or else stay in the parking lot passing time to make sure I'm ready to drive home. I am very careful.

Hi Kim. I don't drink either for real. Every weekend when me and my sister goes out I'll have 1 drink the whole weekend and she'll have a few or a couple of strong ones. And I'll drive because I have 2 little kids and a DWI isn't cool at all. My kids are my world.I have a 8yr old and a 11 month old and I would never want to see a disappointing look in their eyes when it comes to me doing something that I should no better. I wasn't raised to drink all the time. I can't really remember my parents really drinking. My Dad a beer where and there but, my mother never drinks. So, I have to much to gain for not messing up my life.

I think it's great that you don't drink and you share your opinion with others. I have a friend who has drinking friends and when he made the decision to stop drinking, his friends really pressured him to drink. His friends don't understand that he chooses not to drink b/c he's tired of feeling the hangover. I never realized how bad peer pressure can be. I myself have never been a drinker, so I cannot relate to that. I simply do what I want and don't care what other people think - but for some people, especially guys, it's not that simple. I'm so happy that you are a positive role model for teens and that you and Reggie are involved in these community efforts to show teens that's okay not to drink. Keep up the great work!

Good message about drinking & driving. I don't believe in drinking & driving although I do admit I go out & socially drink. Luckily for me, it's usually a whole group of us that go out together & we have each other's backs when it comes to the driving. There is ususally a designated driver in the group & if I ever feel I can't drive, I have someone else drive me home or I stay where I am until I am capable of driving. Watching Khloe's incident on the show really drove home a message for me to even be safer than I am already. Question: Does Khloe still drink when she goes out? Did she get her license back? Oh & my fave drinks are rum & cranberry or smirnoff ice. ~Peace girly~

That's what my Dad told me when I turned 18 and the drinking age was 18. He said he couldn't control the fact I was legally old enough to drink, but he never wanted me to drink and drive. I told him I would never, he said he knew but wanted to emphasize it anyway.

I never cared if I did or not - rather waste my calories on something better tasting, so I was always the designated driver through college, and with my friends since then. I had just as much fun as they did.

That was really nice of you and Reggie to talk to the teens about drinking dangers and sharing your experiences. I've never known about Reggie, not being a big football fan, but the more you talk about him and I see his pictures, I really do think he is good enough for you. As for my drink of choice (I am over 21 btw) it is definitely vodka with orange juice.

Thanks for sharing that interesting story with us. I am glad you had reggie by your side. I am not a big fan of alcohol, I know several people who lost their lives from drinking and driving. I am the type of person I like to be in control at all times. When I go out dancing it club soda all night long. Driving and drinking are 2 things that are incompatible, even if you have only drank a little bit, like a beer, you can't drive, even if you think you do and that it's not affecting you! when you drive when you have been drinking, not only are you risking your own life (seriously, if you do something like that you must not appreciate your life very much at all), you're as well risking other people's life, it could be anyone, innocent people that don't have to pay for you being an irresponsible selfish id!ot if you have been drinking and then drove! you could kill children, someone's father or mother, someone's lover, families, and ruin a lot of lives. You can ruin your own family's lifes and also other's. It's just plain stupid to do and not worth it at all. If you have been drinking, even if it's just a tiny bit, DON'T DRINK, never, ever ever ever, for the sake of life!

Love your spirit don't change that we share the same sign we are both libras! There is just one thing I want to share with you. You don't have to always make things seem so perfect you only have to prove to yourself and god not anybody else so don't spend your time making things seem perfect all the time you are human we all make mistakes and im referring to the comment you made about Reggie drinking, and I think before you say something you should always make sure your facts are right and make sure there is no evidence in site! For example you said Reggie doesnt drink (Which is absolutely nothing wrong with him drinking he is an adult as long as you drink responsively). On your site there is a pic of you and Reggie celebrating New Years (Cute pics by the way), but anyway Go to New Years Jan. 1st, 2008 the first pic is Reggie with a patron shot in his hand. That was a very cool thing you and Reggie did. I'm glad to see that you both are trying to impact someones lives in a positive way. Although I do drink, I must say I do NOT drink and drive. I also dont make it a habit of over drinking. I prefer Patron, Crown Royal, Grey Goose and Malibu when I do drink.

Anything that ends in "bomb," I'll drink though I have to admit I drink maybe once a month. I'm not a big partier but getting sauced once in a while, having some good laughs and a safe ride home is a fun time in moderation.

Hey Kim. Thanks for sharing your story and Khloe's story. I too, am in the same boat as her. I got my OWI in Sept. of last year. It is selfish to drink and drive, but after you've been drinking, you don't think about the consequences. You feel invincible. I am thankful, I didn't hurt anyone and that I didn't wreck. I was pulled over for having my license plate lamp out =/
Although, I was extremely urked that it had happened to me, IT NEEDED to happen. It definately was a blessing in diguise and I'm thankful everyday. Its great you spoke up about it in L.A. People need to know, but unfortunately, I've learned that not many people will care unless something awful happens to them or a loved one. And I have lost MANY to drinking and driving. I learned my lesson.Cab it up or don't drink at all. Thank you!
